For over 30 years, Dann Aungst battled sexual addiction. When he finally encountered the depth of humanity’s struggle — and the healing power of God’s truth — the Lord gave him a clear mission: ‘Tell them for Me.’ That calling became Road to Purity… and this podcast.
Tell Them For Me is a faith-based podcast produced by Road to Purity, a Catholic nonprofit organization founded by Dann Aungst. The podcast addresses the growing issues of pornography and sexual addiction, offering guidance and support for individuals and families seeking healing and growth in purity. With a focus on restoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—the show features candid conversations, personal testimonies, and expert insights to help listeners overcome addiction and rebuild trust in their relationships .
Each episode delves into topics such as overcoming addiction, marriage survival, and the journey toward forgiveness and healing. Listeners can expect to hear from individuals who have faced these challenges, as well as professionals who provide practical advice and resources. The podcast also highlights the broader societal impacts of pornography and sexual addiction, emphasizing the importance of addressing these issues within the community.
Whether you’re personally affected or seeking to support others, Tell Them For Me offers a compassionate and comprehensive approach to navigating the path to purity and recovery.
Most Catholic parents are dreading the one big talk — but by the time you sit your child down, the culture has been talking to them for years.
In this sample lesson from Road to Purity’s “Restoring the Family” program, we walk parents through a completely different way to think about forming their children in love, sexuality, and identity. Drawing on Pope St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and Love and Responsibility, St. Thomas Aquinas’s teaching on the intellect and the will, and our years of ministry to families wounded by silence, we give you the actual architecture you need to do this holy work well.
In this lesson, you’ll learn:
→ Why the “one big talk” approach almost always backfires — and what to do instead
→ The three things every child needs to hear from you before they hear it from anyone else
→ The exact words to use when your child ambushes you with a question you weren’t ready for
→ Why your child’s intellect — not just their behavior — is what you most need to form
→ How to address gender ideology with both truth and compassion
→ The Catholic teaching that your home is a domestic church with real spiritual authority
This is a sample lesson — one of many we’re building for the full Restoring the Family program.
